Spring has definitely sprung at St Aldhelm's. Mrs Bevan brought three beautiful lambs to join us. There were questions galore as well as cuddles for the whole school too!

Published 27/04/24Nightingales kick started their new enquiry unit of Our Local Area by taking a trip to the Glebe Land just outside of school. Nightingales loved the opportunity to explore their local area just outside of school by discovering dens, looking at what animals they could see around them and having fun in the field!

Published 21/04/24An amazing turnout for Easter Bingo organised by the PTA. Thank you to everyone who contributed eggs, came along to enjoy the fun, Lynne our Bingo Caller and especially the PTA Members who made it an enormous success. We were able to use the new speaker and mic funded by the PTA too! Learning together for life in all its fullness.

Published 21/04/24Falcons took the new Phizzi Science equipment outside to explore how to create circuits using different electrical components. There was some amazing collaboration and reflection with scientific questioning and ideas too. They finished as a class exploring using an energy stick, posing lots of science questions including how big they could make the circle of children to keep the circuit going and even exploring using faces and feet too!
