On Friday 2nd February, we celebrated the NSPCC's Number Day. The children (and adults) were invited to 'dress as a digit' and there was some amazing creativity shown. The children took part in a wide variety of maths activities across the day.
Across school, all children took part in celebrations to mark the historic occasion of the King's Coronation. Children were encouraged to come dressed in red, white and blue with their homemade crown and took part in a range of activities throughout the day.
Children across different year groups were fantastic as they competed in one of the Mendip Cross Country events. As well as being brilliant runners, our children had a fantastic attitude, wonderful determination too and represented our school really well.
Children loved taking on the role of the teacher during our recent learning showcase. They enjoyed showing their grown ups what they have been learning and sharing with them some new strategies and methods.
Year 2 Magpies loved their workshop from the South West Heritage Trust!
