Year Six Superstars!

We are so proud of our amazing Year 6 children who tackled their SATs last week with a calm, positive confidence. They enjoyed snacks galore this week and a fantastic afternoon in the Glebeland forest playing Capture the Flag! 💚Belief💛

Mrs Pulsford, who came into school to monitor the administration and delivery of SATs, shared a message with our Year 6 children:

To all year 6 .

Firstly, I would like to thank you for allowing me to observe you all whilst sitting your SATs this week, as one of the school's Governors, it allows me to witness the process of how the school puts into place exam settings.

I would like to express how extremely proud of each and every one of you in Year 6 along with Mrs Newman for all the hard work that helped prepare you to stay calm and focused throughout the week. You showed great resilience, you demonstrated respect for one another at a time when nerves could easily set in ,not forgetting how impressed I was with the amount of knowledge you shared when doing the quizzes.

So, on behalf of the Governor's at St Aldhelm's Church School a massive well done, now just relax and enjoy the rest of your journey and time with your class mates

Best Wishes

Mrs C Pulsford
