Remembrance Day Worship

On Monday 11th November, children and staff held a Remembrance Day Worship to remember and pay respects to those who have fought in wars, both past and present, and think of those affected by war.

Year 3 led our worship, with guidance from Miss Juden, our school History lead. Children read aloud both facts and poems beautifully. The whole school reflected during the two minutes silence following the last post, played by Mrs Cohen. Mrs Phillips ended our service with a prayer.

We recognise the importance of educating and providing the opportunity for children to experience and understand such a key historic day.

When you next visit school, look out for the Remembrance Day display in the corridor leading to the library.
