We were delighted to welcome the very special poet and children’s author A.F. Harrold to St Aldhelm’s on Thursday. He’d already sent us a postcard with a poem before his arrival. He delighted our classes with his word play (there were giggles and guffaws aplenty) and Kingfisher Class created a fantastic poem with him titled “The Dangerous School” proving that everyone can be a poet and poems really don’t need to rhyme. We are all really looking forward to your next postcard!
