Last term we visited Bristol and learned about Judaism.


At forest school we cooperated to make our own land art and enjoyed toasting marshmallows round our campfire.

We learned to make a gymnastic sequence with different jumps and balances.

This is what we will be learning about in Class Four this Term.

Science What is the difference between solids and liquids and how can we separate them?
Geography How important is water in the world?
Art What is a chair really like?
ICT Can I use repeating programmes in logo to make a picture?
PE Dance, games and athletics
RE How do people express their religious beliefs?
PSHE What can I find out about drugs that will help me to understand that they can harm my body?

We are all working towards these spelling targets:

I can choose some words from my own writing and take responsibility for learning them
I can sort words according to the patterns I see and spot the rule
I can choose an appropriate strategy to help me to learn my spellings
I can check my work to make sure the spotlight words are spelt correctly

Mathematics We are continuing to learn about number patterns and calculations as well as telling the time and understanding shapes and measures. For our targets we are learning to use different strategies for mental addition and subtraction.
