6 - Rich and poor Tudors
This term Year 3's topic is Tudors. We have started to investigate all
the different ways we can find out about history and have already used
time lines, family trees, videos, CD roms and images as well as books.
As part of our work we are going to Montacute House to find out how
a rich Tudor would have lived. We will explore the house and look at
historical artefacts - another way of finding out about the past. There
are many portraits of Tudors in Montacute so it's also like visiting
an art gallery. Some of us will be looking at portraits in detail to
see what they tell us before using a Tudor technique for making portraits.
