Our Geography topic this term is "At the Seaside". We have
already had an exciting field trip to Burnham on Sea to study the features
of the seaside. As a follow up we have been linking our role play to
the seaside. This week we had a Punch and Judy show has been fantastic
for our speaking and listening skills.
Instructions are our focus for our Literacy work. The children have
learnt to use verbs and linking words in their writing. The following
photos show some clay creatures that they children made and then wrote
instructions about how they made them.
The topic for this term is looking at "Electricity". An introduction
to the concept of electricity and the essential role it plays in everyday
life. Children are introduced to the hazards associated with electricity.
The children have all made a circuit and linking to the seaside topic
they have also made lighthouses.
