Parents ticked as many methods as they wished.  Interestingly, the majority of ‘cycle’ tickers also ticked ‘walk’.  There were four people who ticked both car options and nothing else.  Thirteen replies ticked only the non- share car option showing that a majority see this as the least worthwhile option.  The one tick for ‘other’ did not specify what this meant.

Four responses that ticked ‘Nothing’ also ticked other options!   Seven forms had no box ticked in this section suggesting that the ‘nothing’ figure could be higher.  Two forms said that as the adults went straight from dropping off their children to work, a car was the only viable option.

With the exception of the ‘nothing’ categories this section had the most multiple ticks suggesting that where cycling was seen as an option a package of measures is needed.  Seven forms did not have any box in this section ticked again suggesting that the ‘nothing’ totals should be higher.
