School Meals

An Award Winning Kitchen!

At the 2006 award ceremony for SCS staff held in September our kitchen staff were successful in two categories. Mary Rowsell and Peggy Webb were highly commended in both the 'Customer Service Award' and the 'Teamwork Award'. This is the second time the kitchen staff have been recognised in this way. In 2004 they were 'Highly Commended in the 'Most Improved Kitchen' category.

Thailand Meal

Our school cooks prepared a Thailand meal in the Spring Term.



Mexican Meal

As part of our International work, each term the pupils study a country from around the world. This is called our 'Passport' project (see projects section for details). A special aspect of this project is the meal using dishes and ingredients from our focus country. This term pupils enjoyed a Mexican menu prepared for us by our cooks and by Year Six pupils.

Three governors joined us for the meal.
