Sarah
Pearson comes from Shrewsbury and trained to be a teacher at Charlotte
Mason College in Ambleside, Cumbria. She taught in the Lake District
for several years before her husband's job brought her to Somerset.
After a few years at home and as a supply teacher, she joined the
teaching staff of St. Aldhelm's.
She has three children, all of whom have been pupils at St. Aldhelm's.
Her hobbies include music and singing which she loves teaching at
school. She plays the cello and as a student visited Canada and Russia
as part of an orchestra. She likes gardening and needlework and loves
camping, holidays, the seaside, animals and chocolate! She also runs
various children's clubs. Currently, she is running a club in Wells
with a local church. Recently, Mrs Pearson visited Zambia to work
with children there.
Before becoming a teacher she worked in a chip shop (much smellier
than working in a school!) and on a strawberry farm (Yum!).
