Gill
Barnett was born in Bristol too many years ago to mention! On leaving
school she went to secretarial college in Clifton to learn shorthand
and typing and worked as a secretary for a number of years for the
Distillers Company. She married a Somerset lad in the 70s and moved
to Chelynch where she has lived ever since. After having three children,
all of whom attended St.Aldhelm's School, she decided to apply for
a position at St. Aldhelm's as a Lunchtime Supervisor and subsequently
a Learning Support Assistant. She has remained here for the past 20
years!
Her
spare time is taken up with walking (husband and dog!), reading and
visiting Devon where one of her daughters lives.
