Fiona
Yates, was born a couple of years before her headteacher! and has
lived in Hanover,(BAOR) Surrey, Munchen Gladbach (BAOR), West Grimstead,
Tisbury, Stratford sub Castle, Arborfield, Munster (BAOR), Tidworth,
Osnabruck (BAOR), Richmond, N.Yorks, and Frome.
After attending various schools she ended up in a convent in Dorset.
Married in Wiltshire in the 70s she had two energetic boys who eventually
started school in Osnabruck (BAOR) where she worked as a classroom
assistant. This pattern continued with each move of her husband's,
until they ended up near Bath where she attended Bath Spa University.
Four years later she started teaching at Doulting. Having recently
become a grandparent, life has never looked so good. Her other son
may get married in New Zealand - another big event in her life.
