Dear Parents,

Junior Productions: The Peace Child

Infant Productions: A Present for the Baby

The children have been hard at work rehearsing their Christmas play, A Present for the Baby which they would very much like to show to an audience of parents and family members.   I hope you have the performance dates in your diaries.

Tickets are now available.   This letter explains how we intend to distribute these so that we can be fair to everyone and ensure that all the children involved have somebody in the audience at one or other of the performances.

In an attempt to reduce the pressure on tickets and because the school has grown in size over the years we have split the Infant and Junior productions for the first time.   This will allow us to accommodate more parents.

We are making two tickets available per child.   Your tickets can be collected from the office in person or your child can pick them up for you.   If you have a child in both Infants and Juniors you will also be entitled to tickets to both shows.   If you have more than one child you will still be entitled to two tickets per child.   You can have two tickets for one performance or a ticket for each.

Should you not need both tickets then let us know when you collect them and we will put them aside in a pool so that we can assess whether or not extra tickets will be available for families that want them.   You can let us know if you would like further tickets when you collect your initial allocation but we shall only distribute these on the morning of the performance.

In deciding how to allocate these tickets we have kept in mind that the children are the most important people to consider.   I hope you will agree that, although we may not accommodate everyone’s wishes, we shall ensure that each child has to opportunity to have someone in the audience.

Yours sincerely,
