From the Headteacher
Star Work: Congratulations to our Star Workers of this week: Georgie Cullen, Zara Adams, Molly Barton, Maria Walton, Callum Thorner, Robert Holmes and Kai Davis. Their work is on display in pride of place in the centre of the school.
Cross Country: Congratulations to our
Jamaican Tuck Shop: The tuck shop this week was a big success and raised £8.70 for our school’s adopted charity. In addition, we have added the money raised by selling cakes made on Maths Problem Solving Day. This means we will be sending a cheque for £15.00 to CLIC.

Advance Notice of some activities in Term Four:
March 7th: We shall be holding our second ‘Wellie
Walk to School’ from two local venues.
March 13th: Our
March 15th: Our piano and guitar players will be
performing to an invited audience of family and friends during the morning.
March 23rd: Parents will be invited to brass lessons on
this morning to see/hear how their children are progressing.
March 27th: A Church service will be held, led by Years
One and Six.
Half-Term: Term 3 ends at the end of school today. I hope the week’s break is restorative for you all after all the ill health of the first two months of the year. School resumes for Term 4 on Monday 26th February.

From the Friends of St. Aldhelm’s (PTA): Thank you to all the children who came along to the disco last Friday – we raised a total of £207.92p. We would also like to thank all parents who helped on the night, especially Marie and Ruth who face painted throughout the disco.
The Bag2school raised an excellent £175.00 again a big thank you to all who contributed, the next one will be on Friday the 6th of July.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Friday 2nd March at 2.00pm. Please report to the school office on arrival. All welcome.
