Welcome
back. I hope your Christmas and New
Year holiday was an enjoyable one. The term ahead promises to be an exciting one, full of activity.
Welcome to Jack Bloss who has joined our Year Six. I hope this is the start of a happy
association between school and his family.
Congratulations to 48 of our children who attended school every day
of terms one and two (September to December).
Certificates will be given to these pupils in assembly and letters sent
to parents. Our attendance figures
remain strong and I am grateful to parents for the support
given in ensuring children attend regularly and on time.
This
newsletter is available on line at www.staldhelms.co.uk It is also available by email. If you would prefer to receive an e-version
rather than a paper one, please let us know at the office. To support our environmental work we would
like to reduce the amount of paper we send home. To work towards this we would like more
parents to use e-mail and/or the school website to receive their newsletter so
please consider how you can help save paper.
Naturally, we shall still send paper copies where they are needed.
Our
website is updated several times a week.
It contains term dates in the diary section, the menu in the School
Meals section as well as copies of newsletters and general letters to
parents. In addition, you can see
photographs and read information about the work of our pupils by visiting the
Projects section or by visiting each class page. If you want to find out what your children
are learning in French you can visit the French section where you will also
find the basic vocabulary the pupils are using.
