We have reached the end of Term Two having celebrated Christmas in style in a variety of ways over the last two weeks. My thanks to everyone who made this a special time for our children.
Christmas Lunch was served to pupils yesterday. Mrs Rowsell and Mrs Webb worked very hard to ensure everyone had a good lunch. Thank you to them and thank you to the members of the PTA who decorated the tables and prepared the hall: Mrs Meen, Mrs Dummer, Mrs Pitman and Mrs Morgan (Mrs Dummer’s mother) and to governors Mr Blaker and Mrs Douglass for their help.
Thank you to members of Year Five and Reception class who led our church service yesterday.
Yazmine Douglin leaves us today for a
new life in
Lewis Ruby: Many of you will know that one of our Year Three pupils has been very ill in Frenchay hospital. After a difficult week the news now appears more positive and he was sitting up in bed when I visited last Friday. Our thoughts and good wishes go to Lewis and his family for a wonderful Christmas and a New Year that sees Lewis restored to good health.
I hope your Christmas holiday is merry and enjoyable. School resumes on Wednesday 3rd January at 8.57am.
