From the Headteacher

Star Work:   Congratulations to Katie Anderton, Molly Manship and Ryan Billing who have work on display in the main corridor on our Star Work board.

Christmas Plays:   All children are working hard on songs and lines so that the Christmas plays are ready for their audiences.   A letter about tickets was sent home this week.   These are available from the school office.   We have made 2 tickets per child to offer although we aim to accommodate as many people as possible.   Further requests will be recorded on our reserve list.   Please collect your tickets by the end of Tuesday.

Christmas Fayre:    Thank you to everyone who has contributed time, effort and goods for our Fayre.   I am hopeful of a busy, exciting and profitable event.   Our PTA will inform you of the amount we’ve raised on next week’s newsletter.

Sound systems:   We now have a sound system installed in each classroom so that the teacher’s voice is more evenly distributed around the room.   The PTA have supported us in this work making it possible to have new systems in every classroom.   This will benefit all children.   The hard work at events like the Christmas Fayre results in these sorts of improvements to our school.

Start of the Day:  This is now much better with fewer children being late.   Thank you for supporting the efforts to start on time.

Christmas Service:   We will be attending church on Monday 18th December for a service which starts at 9.30.   (Parents are welcome to join us for this.)   Reverend Martin will be addressing the children.
